Upfine is formulated to provide a course of balanced multivitamin therapy.
Upfine provides essential vitamins for the patients whose daily nutritional requirements may not otherwise be met, such as the elderly on restricted diets, patients on imposed dietary regims, or in case where impaired absorption is suspected.
Upfine is also valuable in other restricted diets, such as those in renal condition malabsorption states and allergic conditions.
Upfine is used in the treatment of Gypochloraemic alkalosis and is also used as dietary supplement.
As a source of vitamins for prevention/correction of dietary deficiency in case of convalescence, low caloric and restricted diets.
None at the recommended dosage.
Prolonged excessive dose of vitamin A and D can lead to hypercitaminosis states.
Symptoms include dry rough skin painful joint swelling anorexia and vomiting.
These disappear when treatment is discontinued.
The doses of Upfine should aleays be adjusted to individual needs.
Adults: 1 caplet 3 times daily.
Children: 1 Caplet daily.
