Each hard gelatin capsule contains:
Tramadol Hydrochloride BP 50mg
It is centrally acting synthetic analgesics compound that is not derived from natural sources nor is chemically related to opiates.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
It acts via opioid receptors in CNS to produce analgesics. It has no abuse potential.
On set of action
Duration of action
Moderate to severe acute or chronic pain and in painful diagnostic measures and surgery. Arthralgia, musculoskeletal pain, colics, low back pain, pain associated with fractures, dislocation, contusion and osteoarthritis.
Nausea, vomiting and dizziness.
Hypnotics, alcohol and psychotropic intoxication, Hypersensitivity.
Alcohol: Not to drive and operate machinery.
Pregnancy: Caution, safety not established.
Breast Feeding: Caution, safety not established.
Elderly: Caution, may be given in reduced dose.
Carbamazepine: A significant increase in Tramadol metabolism.
Hypnotics, Tranquilizers and other CNS depressants: Sedative effects potentiated.
MAOIs: Fatal interaction occurs.
Opioid anagelsics like Buprenorphine, Butorphanol and Pentazocine: may precipitate withdrawal symptoms.
Transquilizers: Anagelsia potentiated.
Adult: 50 to 100mg 2 to 3 times daily, max.: 400mg total daily dose.
Children: Not recommended for children below 14 years.

Store in a dry and dark place, between 10oC and 25oC. Protect from light.
