Each 5ml contains Cyproheptadine HCL BP 2mg, L-Lysine 25mg in palatable sugar and Liquid Glucose base.
Cyproheptadine is 5-HT antagonist and has mild anticholinergic and sedative properties. The antihistamic property is responsible for the effect of the 5-HT is responsible for CNS action including relief from migraine.
CYPRIGOLD is indicated as an antihistamine and anti allergic, including rhinitis and Urticaria, it brings relief in migraine or cerebral headache.
The L-Lysine contained in the product is an essential Amino Acid which plays a prominent role in tissue growth and therefore of great value in healthy growth.
CYPRIGOLD is contra-indicated in patients with glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, urinary retention, acute asthma, stenosing peptic ulcer, elderly debilitated patients, lactation and neonates. It is also contra-indicated in patients allergic to any of the three ingredients.
Most common side effect of CYPRIGOLD is drowsiness. Other side effects are nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, dizziness and paradoxical excitement in children. HOWEVER THESE ARE NOT LIKELY TO OCCUR AT THE RECOMMENDED DOSES.
Some people may feel drowsy with CYPRIGOLD, if this happens they should not drive a vehicle or operate machinery or appliances which require alertness.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
1-5 years: half teaspoonful (2.5ml) twice daily
6-12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5ml) twice daily
Above 12 years: 2 teaspoonful (10ml) twice daily

Keep in a cool dark place and away from light. Store under 30oC
