Each film coated tablet contains:

Diclofenac Potassium BP 100mg

Colour: Red Iron Oxide

It is very commonly used non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory drug. It has Analgesic, Antipyretic and Anti-inflammatory actions.


Pharmacology: After oral administration it is rapidly and completely absorbed. It shows substantial first pass effect and is highly protein bound it is metabolized, excreted in urine and bile.


Indications: Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Acute painful shoulder, Postoperative pain, Musculoskeletal injuries, Dysmenorrhoea, Sprain, Dislocation, Tenosynovitis, Tenditis, Osteoarthritis, low back pain, gout. Management of pain and primary dysmenorrhea when prompt pain relief is desired.


Contraindications: GI bleeding, active peptic ulcer, NSAID induced allergic asthma.


Special precautions: Impairment of hepatic, renal or cardiac function. Children, blood coagulation disorders. Recent proctilatis. GI disorders.


Dosage: Starting dose 50mg in some patients an initial dose of 100mg followed by 50mg doses provide better relief. Maximum daily dose after the first day is 150mg or as directed by the Physician.


Storage: Store protected from light.


Keep all medicines out of reach of children.


Presentation: 10 blisters of 10 tablets in a box.
