How To Cook Your Coconut Rice Meal
1. in a large pan, heat up 2 tablespoons of oil. Add 1 large bulb of onion (sliced), fresh pepper and five MAGGI cubes. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring till the onions soften.
2. add 2 cups of coconut milk and two cups of water.
3. add 4 cups of parboiled rice, stir and cover with a lid.
4. Cook on medium to low heat for 20/30 minutes, until the rice is soft. Serve hot.
Tip: make your own coconut milk by blending pieces of coconut (with the brown back peeled off) in warm water and a pinch of salt till the coconut is finely ground. Strain and use coconut milk as you like.
No need to add salt.
