For treatment of dehydration associated with diarrhea
Each sachet contains:
Dextrose Anhydrous B.P. 20.00g
Sodium Chloride B.P. 3.50g
Sodium Citrate B.P. 2.90g
Potassium Chloride B.P. 1.50g
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE
AGE AND VOLUME IN 4-6 HOURS
Below 6 Months: 200ml-400ml
6 Months to 3 Years: 400ml-800ml
3 Years to 5 Years: One liter
Over 5 Years: As required
If diarrhoea attacks your infant, it is necessary to fight it.
Take one liter of each freshly boiled water and one sachet ORSORAL.
Cool the boiled water and dissolve contents of sachet in water and stir well.
Give the patient to drink as per dosage instructions.
DISCARD ANY SOLUTION LEFT AFTER 24 HOURS.
CONTINUE FEEDING AND BREAST FEEDING DURING DIARRHOEA.
